Our agricultural initiative is supporting local agro-ecological farmers bring forth conservation and revitalization of the environment, public health and human welfare by producing food, fiber and animal products locally and sustainably.

Protect the ecological health of Puerto Rico with a donation to Para la Naturaleza. With your contribution, you are helping us save endangered species that are critical to the health and biodiversity of Puerto Rico, such as the concho toad and the Puerto Rican parrot.

Gifts will help transform the lighthouse into a visitor and research center with educational and recreational opportunities that celebrates local history and advances nature conservation.

Gifts to the Map of History will support the organization’s ability to document, assess and respond to hurricane and earthquake damages to historic properties in the island’s 12 historic zones.

This initiative helps us achieve our goal of safeguarding our precious lands and their natural resources. Para la Naturaleza's vision is a Puerto Rico in which at least 33% of its land (we are currently at 16%) is conserved in perpetuity, where there are abundant, well-managed water sources and multiple opportunities for local food production.

Our project seeks to develop vital connections between protected areas, rivers and other natural resources through trails and pedestrian routes. They also focus on diverse areas that include rural and urban communities that have limited access to outdoor recreational opportunities, activities and facilities. Gifts support our long-term environmental recovery efforts, which includes reforestation at its core by planting 750,000 trees, and the restoration of our natural habitats.

This project seeks to restore The San Juan Aqueduct, created in the 19th century, is a legacy of the historic engineering and public health contributions that occurred during this period. Once renovated, it will accommodate several activities at once, including tourism, scientific research, education, community development, citizen entrepreneurship, and recreation.
